About this Expression
Crafted in Dunedin and matured on the South Island coast in Oamaru, Dunedin DoubleCask Single Malt is an elegant New Zealand whisky finished in Central Otago Pinot Noir barrels. Matured first in American ex-bourbon casks before gaining depth and character from French oak red wine casks, it delivers layers of rich grain, cherry, warming spice and toasted oak, culminating in a long, fruit-driven finish.

The Story
Bourbon oak meets Central Otago Pinot Noir.
This beautiful single malt whisky has spent 3 years maturing in American ex-bourbon casks before soaking up luscious flavours from Central-Otago Pinor Noir barrels, for an additional 1.5 years. While quietly ageing in our seaside bond store in Oamaru, Dunedin DoubleCask has gained a golden auburn colour and aromas of beeswax and fresh cereal, toasted oak and soft spices with a delicious, long fruity finish. An elegant single malt with depth and characters that make this whisky a truly enjoyable experience.
