Single Grain aged New Zealand Whisky.The very last casks of the original Wilson's Matured Blend, released as a mature 21-year-old whisky. Distilled back in the day at the Wilson's Distillery in Dunedin, later matured and bottled in Oamaru - this iconic whisky has been hugely popular among many generations of kiwis. We have bottled this whisky to celebrate whisky distilling re-starting in Dunedin and to honor the memory of Richard Boraman, a pioneering food scientist, who's most well-known achievement was developing Wilson's Whisky. A masterblend of 70% malted and 30% un-malted barley, this beautiful whisky with a deep golden colour has rich flavours of dried yellow fruits and creamy cereals with notes of caramel and honey - leaving long lingering oily fruit characters on the palate. Elegant yet full of flavour, this is a truly special release. Limited release.
