The Story
Bold, Exotic, Unmistakably Oamaru
The Ōamaru Single Malt is our house whisky, named after the town where every cask in our collection matures. Distilled from South Island barley and laid down in American oak ex-bourbon and ex-rye barrels, it carries the full character of its seaside maturation: a salty, creamy richness layered with tropical fruit and warm spice. This is the whisky that tells you exactly where it was made.

- Fields of barley, ripe banana, tangerine and papaya, cream caramel and lemon pie.
- Palate
- Full bodied and salty. Creamed honey, macadamia and hazelnut, creamed butter and spicy white pepper.

- Long, lingering and oily with toffee and barley.

- Golden amber.
