Type BlendABV 43%Age 21 YearsBarrel American Oak, Ex-Bourbon 375ml Single Grain aged New Zealand Whisky. -- Years ago at the Willowbank Distillery in Dunedin, a batch of premium grain whisky was made in the distillery’s column still using unmalted barley. That whisky was then blended with their single malt and placed into American Oak, ex-bourbon barrels. Twenty-one years later we carefully selected casks and bottled this master blend of 70% malted and 30% unmalted barley as High Wheeler. This smooth, well balanced single grain whisky has been used as a base for our other premium whiskies. A MasterBlend of 70% single malt, and 30% premium grain whisky made from un-malted barley in the Dunedin distillery.
